This is a detailed listing of foods you can enjoy while following the Paleo Diet. This listing is broken down into food groups to give you a comprehensive idea of what to eat on your Paleo journey.
As you review the Paleo Food List below, you will notice that asterisks appear next to certain items. The asterisks indicate that although the item is technically Paleo approved; it should be consumed in moderation. The vegetables that maintain the asterisk tend to have high starch content, which can negatively impact the waistline. As such, be careful how much of them you consume unless you are extremely active. The fruit with the asterisk next to it has a high sugar content. Although the sugar is naturally produced; it can still torpedo your weight loss goals and as a result, be mindful of your intake. The remaining items that maintain the asterisk next to them can also wreak havoc on the body and you should select them as an occasional treat.
